"Paint, Paper & Passion"
"Pintura, Papel y Pasion"

Characteristic of urban or graffiti-art style,
self-taught artist Ernie Lucero uses stenciling,

demure Virgin Marys and familia fill
his pages... and his heart.

Learn to Knit Workshops...

We are pleased to introduce to you
Jamie Badore gentleman spinner and knitter

At the workshop, you will learn how to knit your choice of a beanie hat, scarf or dish cloth.
Your item would be a great gift or keep for yourself.
Workshop fee of $45 includes all materials needed and refreshments.

The yarn in your kit is from Hudson Valley Sheep & Wool Co., a small woman owned/operated sheep farm/fiber mill in Upstate New York.  The ladies process the wool from the farm’s own sheep (and others!) and then hand dye it.  Your color choice---their artistry!

You may contact us or Jamie Badore for more information on upcoming dates or if you'd be interested in booking your own workshop!

March/April 2008- "Space Junkie"

Alex Rios
An invitation to expand your horizons.  An opportunity to let go of your surroundings, your opinions, and see things for what they might be instead of what they are not.

Art as I know it is a communicator, a facilitator of introduction, but no matter how articulate the speaker or how perceptive the listener there are always ideas and meaning that go undiscovered.  This is where my globes come in. They are symbols that make it easier to imagine different scenarios in which multiple meanings can be derived.  The globes represent the intangible like the future or things that cannot be quantified like people or love.  The mere mention of these words invoke many different meanings to many different people, by painting these ideas as globes the focus of obvious meaning is shifted to the back-burner and the imagination of the viewer is allowed to decide for themselves what they are seeing.
